Game of Love x3 was a crowd-sourced project that later became part of the site specific installation for Queerskins, a multimedia narrative VR film on the queer experience through the AIDS crisis in the 80s at Tribeca Film Festival in 2018.

Objects of love, loss and intimacy were collected from strangers, and the viewers are invited to have a photo taken on site anonymously, exposing their naked body parts with a donated object of their choice.

The project explores and encourages expanded forms of intimacy enabled by the Internet and social media platforms. Appropriating these procedures not only as part of their art-making but also as a means of distribution, the artists celebrate the willingness of strangers to give of themselves to others. Importantly, they, re-introduce the awkward, fragile condition of embodiment (both in terms of material objects and the bodies of those who receive the gifts) as a catalyst and reservoir for generating discomfort, surprise, and delight.
